Our Principals
Pam Scott and Joel Leider have worked together programming and planning some of the nation's most recognizable sports venues and recreation facilities. They began their careers in sports facilites design at HOK Sport - now Populous - in 1986. Now, with over 30 years experience dedicated to sports facility programming, planning and design, Pam and Joel have led SportsPLAN Studio in creating projects with notable architects at colleges and universities nationwide, including Princeton University Stadium with Rafael Vinoly Architects; Brown University Fitness and Aquatics Center with Robert A. M. Stern Architects and the University of Notre Dame with Solomon Cordwell Buenz Architects. In addition, SportsPLAN Studio has teamed with design professionals in many municipalities including: S2 Architecture for the City of Calgary Recreation Department Athletics Parks; and civil engineer Hardy Engineering for US Cellular Park in Medford, Oregon. Working directly for city and institutional clients, Scott and Leider have master planned and programmed almost 500 facilities and sports complexes.
