Baylor University Jay and Jenny Allison Indoor Football Practice Facility

Former President

Texas Football Legend
SportsPLAN Studio served as sports facility consultant to the design/build team of Beck Group and Leo A. Daly. As the scope of the project was being defined through the programming process, we investigated options for indoor tracks, indoor tennis courts, retractable synthetic turf over tracks and tennis courts, fixed turf with sprint lanes and field event pits and even multiple building options to accommodate the practice space needs for these sports.
Ultimately concentrating on the fundamental need for multi-use indoor turf, Baylor and the Design/Build team relied on SportsPLAN Studio to create and lead a turf product evaluation and selection process and to design and specify the synthetic turf field and the other sports finishes, equipment and specialties.
