LSU Men's Tennis
With recommendations from our clients at Oklahoma and Baylor, LSU and Holden Architects sought out SportsPLAN Studio to assist in the planning and design of the Tigers’ new varsity tennis complex. The project includes twelve outdoor courts with lights and a two-sided grandstand, six indoor courts with an elevated baseline grandstand and complete support facilities for the Men’s and Women’s tennis programs.
Our work began with a series of programming meetings and a site planning workshop. SportsPLAN Studio worked with the design team on the layout and dimensioning of the indoor facility and helped the LSU coaches prepare custom specifications and details for the court surfaces and all tennis equipment. SportsPLAN Studio remained involved in the construction process through its completion in early 2015.
