The eight-lane, full-depth polyurethane track features a radius of 36.5 meters on the turns and meets the highest standards of track and field’s world governing body, the International Association of Athletics Federations.

The straightaway has chutes at both ends so that sprints and hurdles can be run in either direction, depending on wind conditions. Inside the east curve of the track we provided a steeplechase water jump, shot put and discus circles, a javelin runway and two high jump pits. A sand-capped natural grass infield is the landing area for the shot, javelin and discus and is used for freshman football games. Two long jump/triple jump runways with landing pits on both ends and a pole vault pit with approaches from either side allow every field event to be configured to reduce wind interference.
