As we concluded our Athletics Facility Master Plan for the campus, University of Central Missouri engaged us to design the South Farm Athletic Complex to include the first series of implementation projects. A varsity softball stadium, a slow-pitch intramural and tournament complex and three soccer fields were completed in Phase One. A clubhouse building beyond the left-field fence added team support facilities in the second phase of project development.
In 2003, Facilities Planning Director, Mark Gardner and Coach Sumrell called SportsPLAN Studio again to design a press box overlooking each of the four ballfields with ground level concessions stand, officials’ locker rooms and a field maintenance garage.
