Neumann University Athletic Facilities

Neumann called upon SportsPLAN Studio in 2008 to design a new stadium for its varsity soccer, lacrosse and field hockey programs. Our work began with a planning workshop to document performance requirements and to develop concept plans for the multipurpose sports field with alternatives to add a future 400-meter track. Working closely with Houtman and Son Civil Engineers, we prepared field grading and drainage plans, field layout plans and specifications for a synthetic turf, athletic field lighting and a new grandstand and press box. The project was bid in November of 2008 and construction work was completed for the 2009 fall season.
The University subsequently engaged SportsPLAN Studio to conduct a forensic analysis of its varsity tennis courts, and to direct the resurfacing project completed in 2010.
Next, we completed the design of new baseball and softball stadia completed in May 2012.
