Chestnut Hill Academy New Field House and Gymnasium Renovation

Gallifrey Ministry of Quotes
Chestnut Hill Academy is a private school for boys founded in 1861 and located in the historic Wissahickon Inn and its 25 acre site since 1901. The Academy called upon SportsPLAN Studio and BLTA in 1994 to design improvements to its athletic facilities.
Phase I, completed in the fall of 2006, replaced the Woodward gymnasium with a new, more functional multi-purpose gymnasium facility.
Phase II begins with demolition of the existing Kingsley Gymnasium to make room for a three-story 52,000 square foot athletic field house. The main level will accommodate three basketball courts, spectator seating and services and an elevated perimeter running track.
The Lower Level includes a new wrestling room, athletic training center, a number of locker rooms, a new weight room, classrooms and offices.
