University of Oklahoma Indoor Varsity Tennis Center
The Indoor Tennis Center is the third stage of a sports complex, which we began planning seven years ago. With its completion, we think OU will have one of college sports’ best tennis facilities.

In the third phase of project development, The University of Oklahoma again called upon LWPB Architects and SportsPLAN Studio. With a very aggressive schedule and project budget, the design team quickly investigated options for building systems and designed an enhanced tilt-up concrete structure to enclose six championship tennis courts with an acrylic surface over a post-tensioned concrete slab.
The Gregg Wadley Tennis Pavilion is the final piece in a development that includes twelve outdoor courts, a soccer stadium, a locker room and support building and an entry plaza with a ticket box office.
The project low bid in October, 2007 was more than 8% below the design team estimate. The Gregg Wadley Tennis Pavilion opened in January, 2009
